THEIR STORY BEGAN WITH FATEFUL FRIENDSHIP
When they first connected as friends during school. But as time passed, they naturally drifted apart around the age of 16. For years, their paths diverged as they pursued their own dreams and navigated young adulthood. It wasn’t until they were 21 that fate intervened, bringing them back together at a car franchise where they both started working. Little did they know, this chance encounter would change everything.
What started as catching up on old times soon blossomed into something deeper. With each passing day, their bond grew stronger, proving that sometimes, life has its own plans.
FOUR YEARS IN THE MAKING
By their first anniversary, Shelly and Richard knew their connection was special. Richard had always admired Shelley’s radiant positivity and unwavering determination. Whether it was supporting him through challenges or sharing quiet moments of joy, she had a way of making every day feel extraordinary.

THE PROPOSAL: LOVE IN THE AIR
When Richard decided to propose, he wanted the moment to be intimate, something that reflected the essence of their relationship. It happened during a weekend at Tullymore forest park, one of their favourite spots to explore with their two dogs, Harvey and Bonnie.
As they walked along a scenic trail, the sound of a gentle river led them to a picturesque spot with stepping stones crossing the water. With the dogs playfully sniffing around, Richard paused, pretending to fetch a stick for the dogs and then called Shelley over to join him.
There, beside the stepping stones, with the soft rustle of the river and the curious eyes of Harvey and Bonnie watching, Richard dropped to one knee. Holding out a stunning emerald and pair diamond ring, he asked Shelley to spend forever with him. Overwhelmed with emotion, Shelley said yes, her voice trembling with joy.
